We are very excited to welcome Cirrus House, Inc. as one of our V.I.P. Guest organizations at the MEGA Block Party! Our founder at Panhandle Scanner is such a big supporter of Cirrus House that he formerly served as Vice President on the Board of Directors.

Banister's Leadership Academy has agreed to help run kids games for our MEGA Block Party on June 28th in Minatare!

Face painting is always a hit at summer parties! We are thankful that Cryptic Tattoos has agreed to come brighten the day with some fun and colorful face painting at our MEGA Block Party June 28th in Minatare.

Airlink has agreed to FLY IN for our opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. for the Minatare MEGA Block Party PENDING any other calls for service! AirLink said they would try to stick around as long as possible to allow people to talk to them and take a tour of the helicopter that saves lives.

Heifers is the name of the former Broken Spoke in Minatare and they have agreed to be open for a drink, a meal or a place to cool off. Check out their venue for upcoming events.

K & P Welding and Metal Yard Art was so excited to come to our block party, that they took multiple spots. Look for them!

Planned Activities for All Ages

Saturday June 28th 10 am - 5 pm

Opening Ceremony will take place at 10:00 am with the Presentation of our Colors, an Opening Prayer and Blessing on the day from Pastor Johnny of Morrill Community Baptist Church, followed by some special music from Chuck Wagon Church in Scottsbluff. Following their music set, everyone will tune to ScannerFM.net for LIVE Updates, as well as Music from artists that have appeared in the Panhandle at one time or another, PLUS important announcements on our LIVE giveaways throughout the day. Kids and Adults alike will enjoy all kinds of fun lined up for the day, including a Bounce House, Face Painting, a Dunk Tank, a Cake Walk, a Cornhole Challenge, Award Winning Food Trucks and several unique vendors!

The rest of the day features fun attractions and educational opportunities from local emergency management agencies, fire departments, weather groups and more!

Our goal is to help raise both awareness and funding for the local DOVES Program. Domestic abuse is a serious issue that we are not willing to ignore.
